One of EDSA’s goals is sharing knowledge, experiences and good practises. Working together in common projects is a good way to get to know each other and to learn from each other. It also offers the opportunity for people with DS themselves to learn about others in the different countries, to experience a feeling of solidarity, to establish contacts and get more power and selfconciousness.
EDSA as an organisation does not carry out own projects, but several EDSA members are cooperating in European projects, (from the Lifelong Learning Programmes like "Leonardo da Vinci", "Erasmus", "Grundtvig" etc.) and more common activities in the future are planned.
Central European Educational Program: 'The Bell Rings For Everyone!'
Considering the success of the program in the 2009/2010 school year the Down Association in Hungary continues its work. The aim is the acceptance of integration at schools.
